About Paul

Training and coaching that works with you — not on you.

I'm Paul Gover, a certified personal trainer and holistic lifestyle designer. My approach is simple: meet you where you are, understand what you've been through, and build something that actually fits your life — not some idealised version of fitness that ignores real constraints.

I've worked with people rebuilding after injury, managing chronic pain, navigating recovery from addiction, and just generally exhausted by a fitness culture that doesn't work for them. The gym grind mentality — showing up 5 days a week, grinding through workouts you hate — is a failure model. What I'm interested in is sustainable: movement that serves you, habits that stick, and a body that feels good more days than not.

Free Intro Call

We have a no-pressure conversation. I'll ask about your goals, your history, what's worked and what hasn't. You can ask me anything. By the end, we'll both know if we're a good fit.

Start Working Together

If we're a fit, we build a program around you — training, coaching, or both. From there, it's ongoing work, regular check-ins, and adjustments as your body and life change.

Liability Waiver & Release

Acknowledges the inherent risks of personal training and releases Green Eye Open from liability. Covers all training locations — YMCA, parks, and private residences.

Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire covering medical history, medications, and current conditions. Includes recovery-sensitive questions that are confidential and entirely optional.

Client Service Agreement

Outlines pricing ($95/session, $320/4-pack, $600/8-pack), payment methods (Cash, Zelle, Bitcoin), cancellation policy, and scope of services. Required before first paid session.

Assumption of Risk (Outdoor)

Required for sessions at parks and private residences. Acknowledges location-specific risks — uneven terrain, weather, no on-site medical staff — and home session safety responsibilities.

Emergency Contact & Medical Info

Emergency contacts, primary physician, known allergies, current medications, and relevant health conditions. Kept on file. Critical for solo outdoor and home-based sessions.

Photo & Video Release

Grants permission (or not) to use your image for marketing — website, social media, print. Three clear options: full permission, limited permission, or no permission. Revocable at any time.
